We have grown up and younger generations continue to grow up with the #socialmedia misconstruction of "what is good art and what is bad art" depending on the likes. BAD! ❌
We, #artists, don't #create solely "for" social media. We create to express how we feel. This is a principle that can be widely known as #arttherapy as well. An artist would put together, for example, a #sculpture or a piece of #creativewriting, and what happens then is magic! People can "feel" your piece; the sadness, the happiness, the joy, the fury... People can read your piece and it can evoke a thousand different interpretations... It doesn't matter having 0 likes on social media. You don't see stickers with likes in a museum or gallery, do you? There you are, walking, in silence, admiring a piece, trying to create a story from it, trying to see what the artist wants to express... and you do that with all the pieces. The likes don't define who you are. And this is applicable to an infinite amount of #artcategories 🎨
NEVER GIVE UP! Art is a channel of expression and is one of YOUR ways of expression.
